With the break of day unto the dawn we gently awaken. After many dawns awoken we begin to awaken to our awakening. Slowly but surely we observe the world as it is, there to greet us.
In this blog we hope to share with you our journey towards right livelihood, building community, building resilience and collaborating with the planet to create better conditions for life to happen. It’s a place for us to document our journey but also give reference to others who are also ecologically curious.
As I write this, we’re currently in the transition of moving from Aotearoa back to Sweden with the intentions of going ‘full permaculture’. Given the state of the world, we see doubling down on permaculture as the single most important thing we could be doing right now. It doesn’t really matter where you are in the world, permaculture is definitely needed. But along with the physical transition, so too are we gently transitioning how we see ourselves in the world. Out with the old default narratives, and in with the critical reflection of what the future might realistically have in store for us. This expands beyond who we are, and into who we’re becoming.
And we’re not alone in this journey. Right now hundreds of thousands of people are going through a similar awakening, and we’re all connected, we’re all part of the same pattern unfolding.
